The Role:
The role is broad and covers almost every aspect of both live and virtual event delivery, from creating initial concepts and pitches through to bringing the event together on site, and the event wrap after. You will be expected to invest yourself in each H+B production in an articulate way, to ensure content is delivered on time, on schedule and within the brief. You should be enthusiastic and work well within a team environment and within an organisation that is ever changing and growing.
The role is perfect for someone who has experience producing live and virtual events to a best practice high standard and is ready to take that forward to deliver remarkable events and experiences for large global brands.
Day to Day role:
1. Pre- Event
- Creating proposals and innovative theming/event solutions.
- Creating project timelines and sticking to deadlines.
- Sourcing and liaising with suppliers, contracts and venues
- Attending meetings and site visits
- Working closely with production managers, site and tech managers in order to plan and organise production schedules, load lists, and all other relevant paperwork (H&S, Project Statements)
- Writing, managing and reporting on production budgets Developing production budgets to feed into AD’s overall budget
- Ensuring all production invoices are delivered to finance in a timely manner
2. During Event
- To ensure the events produced are delivered to the highest spec.
- Working alongside the wider event team to run the event production
3. Post Event
- Organise and manage event debrief & evaluation from a production POV
General:
- Building relationships with clients and suppliers
- Scoping and quoting work
- Develop and push the boundaries within the type of events we deliver.
- To constantly look for new inspiration
- Work with, and manage relationships with our collective of suppliers.
You Have:
- The ability to immerse yourself completely in our brand, systems and processes
- An approach to work that is highly motivating for all team members.
- The ability to manage and prioritise multiple day-to-day tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, organisation and time management skills;
- The ability to liaise with people at all levels;
- You are self-motivated, personable, driven and focused;
- You will have 5+ years of experience in project managing events
Desired skills:
- Ability to use or learn SketchUp an advantage.
- Good grasp for web based office sharing programmes (Excel, Google docs)
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years marketing/agency experience (Or relevant experience in other areas – Engineering, Project management, design or trades)
- Superb production knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Very strong attention to detail
- In depth knowledge of experiential marketing campaigns/activities
Location:
- We are based in Dublin but hybrid working is fine by us. This role requires two days minimum in our Dublin 2 office, beyond that we have the infrastructure to allow our team to collaborate no matter where they are. If it works for the team, it works for us. *Evening and weekend work may be required as part of certain campaigns.
